Options, options and more options.

The evolution of the world has created endless possibilities. Technology advances by the day, you can buy a new iPhone and before you know it…it’s outdated. Options, options and more options. However, I believe that some things are sacred and less is more. For example, the days when an employee would work for a company and both parties would see to it that they both had success and longevity. Today people move fast, jump in and jump out. We want it quick and want it now. Someone once termed it this way “It’s the fast food generation, we want it our way and we want it now!” This is also true in the sports-world. There are more and more athletes on the big stage that are completely obsessed with their individual value. What is best for me type attitude. The other night on TV NFL Star WR Antonio Brown pulled off his team helmet, team jersey and his equipment and ran off the field while his team was in the middle of the game! Disclaimer: I understand he suffers from sever CTE and I am sympathetic of that. But it was a display of emotion based upon this very fact – its all about AB! Forget about his coach, his team and the fact that his team is headed to the playoffs with a good shot at another Super-bowl. So what’s my point. “Don’t be that guy!” “Stick to it!” “Work it out!” understand this life is bigger than you. Value the people around you and your teammates. Respect the game. AB is going to run out of options because at the end of the day “ain’t nobody want a guy like that!” the only TD’s he will be scoring is on Madden video-game.
